I'm Jordi, a software engineer based in Barcelona. I work across the stack: APIs and data on the backend, native and cross-platform apps on mobile, and the cloud setup that keeps it all running.
I've been building for the web for 20 years, starting with PHP platforms for travel and leisure sites like Atrápalo and RACC. I've been CTO at ByHours and Carnovo, a senior backend engineer at The Hotels Network, Exoticca and MundiMoto, and in 2021 I co-founded Cinquo.

Co-founded with Xavier Colomés (as Localboss) and shipped the first MVP in four months. I lead the technical vision: scalable infrastructure, AI-driven review management and the integrations that serve local businesses around the world.
Senior Software Engineer · MundiMoto Group
Worked on the motorbike sales processes end to end, from planning to implementation, and helped the team improve how it was organised and how its code and architecture were built. Went on to lead the sales tech team and refactored the legacy code built on outdated providers into a new structure that is easier to maintain and to grow.
Senior Backend Developer · Exoticca
Worked mainly on the internal admin platform where the product team configures every travel package: itineraries, flights, hotels, pricing and availability. Made package setup faster and less error-prone, so new tours could reach the website sooner and with fewer manual fixes.
Senior Backend Developer · The Hotels Network
Automated hotel signing and configuration, with an internal tool for corner cases. Built a PDF report notification system for customers and alerts that catch misconfigured hotels.
CTO · Carnovo
Senior Software Engineer Sep 2016 → CTO Jun 2017 – Mar 2020. Led a six-person tech team, ran sprint planning and took part in fundraising, explaining the technology to investors. Moved production to Kubernetes on AWS and Google Cloud and trained the team on it. Joined to build the platform that compares new-car prices from dealers near you, with Twilio-automated calls between buyers and dealerships.

IT Developer Jan 2014 → CTO Jun 2015 – Jul 2016. Led a tech team of up to 12, introduced Agile across the company and cut infrastructure costs. Before that, refactored the backend and frontend, built indexed availability search, and improved performance and stability of the iOS app.

PHP Web Analyst & Developer Dec 2009 → TPM May 2013 – Jan 2014. Led the six-person urban leisure team (show tickets and activities) as product manager and Scrum Master. Before that, refactored the restaurant, show-ticket and activity products, improved their performance and worked on the shopping cart in a ten-person Agile team.
